Be Unique!

This card is for the Midweek Throwdown at Operation Write Home's blog Star & Stamps. The challenge was to use yellow and green. I have not had much time to craft as I like. I had gotten both the paper butterflies and the flowers and was wanting to play with them. The sentiment is from TLC Creations Freebies.

The bottom pictures are to show what makes it easy to take pictures of finished cards. A pop up light tent. This one is 12" perfect for the cards. It has different colors you can insert. It was about 20 dollars on ebay. The best thing about it is it hides the mess around it. I have a small room to craft in and I make a mess when I craft. This was a perfect solution and thought I would share. It is amazing the light it adds to a photo and no shadows!

Luck of the Irish

This Irish bird from Doodle Pantry was too cute not to make! He came precolored. I paper pierced and stitched a shamrock and hand cut the image and mat. The sentiment came with the image. The flower is Oriental Trading. The bling is studio g. Everything Irish is wonderful.

This is entered in the DOODLE PANTRY DIGITAL CHALLENGE 21. The theme is to use one of their images.

Spring BZZZ

To me spring means bees. I love honey bees. I can not wait till we have more hives. We lost ours before we moved and did not set up new ones as we are renting. I love this image by Beccy's Place. The sentiment was printed in word. The dp is Colorbok. I know this is not your typical spring card but I like to be different. Besides, there are flowers on the card.

Solemates

This card was made for the Hambo Hoedown Challenge.  The is image is "SOLEMATES - digital image by Hambo Stamps".  The challenge was tic tac toe.  The line I chose was blue, green and ribbon.   I used Bazzill card stock in a blue green.  The design paper is My Mind's Eye.  The bling is studio g.  The ribbon is not branded.  I colored the image with copics.
I love the humor in the Hambo stamps they use for the challenges.

Triple Play

All of these cards are for Operation Write Home Challenges.
The first card is for the Our Daily Bread Challenge.  This generous company will pay for a large box of shipping overseas for every 25 cards that are linked to the challenge.  They will sponsor up to two boxes each month. This month was tic tac toe challenge.  I chose the row that had brads, piercing and stripes.
This card uses a Doodle Pantry image.  The paper piercing  is in the corner.  The striped paper is from My Mind's Eye. The cardstock is Colorbok. The embossed paper was given to me by my mom.  The brads are from Oriental Trading.

The next card is for the Midweek Challenge on Wednesday's.  The challenge was Mother's Day cards.  I am doing the 1/2 and 1/2 challenge.  I have 51 Mother's Day and 51 General cards so far. I will be mailing early next week so that will probably be all I will able to get finished.
The image is from Oh La La.  The butterflies are punched out of cardstock.  The other cardstock is Bazzill.  The sentiment was made in word.

The last card is for Sunday's sketch challenge.  The image is from Oh La La stamps. The cardstock  is Bazzill.  The design paper is also My Mind's Eye.

Love in Orange

This card was made for the Melijen's blog challenge. This week was to use orange. I think I did that. Maybe a bit too much!
You have to use a image from Melijen's Design which is easy they have so many cute images.
I made the sentiment in Word. The blossoms are from Oriental Trading. The design paper is My Mind's Eye Totally Girl. The bling is studio g. I colored the image with the copics pictured below. That is alot of markers for such a simple image. I usually use three shades for different tones. Somewhere I learned to add gray for wood. The edges are cut with Fiskars punch. I outlined everything with the copics orange. I even outlined the flowers.
I tried the cloud technique from She's gone digital blog.
This card will be going into my Operation Write Home box.

Cute Monster

This card is for the Hambo Stamp Hoedown. He is called "MONSTER WEIGHTS - digital image by Hambo Stamps". Isn't he cute?

I turned the sketch on its side and used the sentiment where the embellishment would go. I do not have anything to cut ovals. When I cut by hand they do not look right.

I colored him with Copics. The dp is from Slab 6. I used a border punch I borrowed for the stripe. The green cardstock is Colorbok. A simple card that is too cute. The image really makes this card.

He will be sent to Operation Write Home as a general card.
