I ordered this kit. You only pay $20 shipping. Limited time scheduled to end the end of August 2014.<br />
If you watch the video you will be given a code to enter for the $100 off this kit which makes it free. You will then be able to market these products and purchase at wholesale. They have kits with even more and you can get the $100 off them but it will cost more. This kit is a limited time with Simply Aroma. I have used essential oils on and off for about 25 years. I believe they are beneficial and help with symptoms. I know lavender has always relaxed me and helped me sleep. Eucalyptus has helped me breathe. I use to spray an office that was stressful and full of drama before others got there when I worked at location. They always said the days I was there were more peaceful. That being said I think this is a great deal especially if you have considered using essential oils. This is a new company less than a year old that is going to use home parties as well to market. </div>

This card is made for OWH. This month's ODBD's challenge is to use floral. They are gracious enough to pay for shipping of a box overseas to our troops for every 25 cards posted and will pay for up two boxes. They do this every month. <br />
<br />
This card is letting the designer paper be the card. This is paper is from Colorbok. The scalloped edge is cardstock from Bazzill and punched using Martha Stewart's punch. The sentiment is from word program. All the edges have been inked with Tim Holtz's walnut. </div>

This is for the Sunday Sketch Challenge at OWH. The cardstock is from Paper Studio. The strip of paper was cut using Martha Stewart Scallop on both edges. The design paper is DCW. The image is from<a href="http://www.simplyinger.blogspot.com/"> Inger Harding</a>. She was colored with copics which I then printed out a few copies of the colored image. </div>

This little girl just caught my eye. I do not rember where the image came from. I think she makes enough of a focal point and impact to be the card and sentiment. I was not going to use an embellishment of any kind. Then I changed my mind. Wish I had realized that before taping. I like the one with the image centered after adding the ribbon better. The paper is some I received from the facebook group scrap to treasure. She is colored with Copic. I colored one larger image and then printed copies. I also added a touch of glossy accent to the heart in front. </div>

This is a Hambo Stamp that I colored with Copics. The technique I used that I had not have used in a while is torn paper. When scrabooking first became the rage there was a lot of torn paper on layouts. The image turned out smaller than I thought it would and made it harder to color. I am having printer issues and was lucky to even get it to print. I had a hard time imagining this image on a card for some reason. It at first looked like it would easy to use and for some reason never looked right to me on my cards although I always loved it on other people's cards. I also always regret when I do not ink the edges of my papers. It does make it look more finished to me. </div><div style='clear:both; text-align:CENTER'><a href='http://picasa.google.com/blogger/' target='ext'><img src='http://photos1.blogger.com/pbp.gif' alt='Posted by Picasa' style='border: 0px none ; padding: 0px; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 50%; -moz-background-clip: initial; -moz-background-origin: initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: initial;' align='middle' border='0' /></a></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2820329633634513062.post-51194802403557047072012-11-02T11:37:00.001-06:002012-11-02T11:41:45.197-06:00Thinking of you-Makes Me Happy<div style="margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center;">

This card will be for OWH. Hope this little fellow will make a hero's loved one happy. The sentiment was made in word. The edges are inked in Tim Holtz distressed ink-Walnut. The card stock is Bazzill. The design paper is unknown. It uses the Doodle Pantry Pantry Image Happy Bird. I am linking this to <a href="http://doodlepantryblog.blogspot.com/2012/11/doodle-pantry-digital-challenge-29.html">Doodle Pantry Challenge DPDC29</a>. </div>

This card is for the OWH Star and Stamp Challenge from Tonic. <br />
I was out of black card stock so I colored white with Copic markers. The sentiment was printed from Word document. The lace was attached to black paper. The design paper is some I forgot to mark with the maker. It is pretty design paper. The idea for the touch of red was from a earlier challenge. Thank you for taking the time to come to my blog. </div><div style='clear:both; text-align:CENTER'><a href='http://picasa.google.com/blogger/' target='ext'><img src='http://photos1.blogger.com/pbp.gif' alt='Posted by Picasa' style='border: 0px none ; padding: 0px; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 50%; -moz-background-clip: initial; -moz-background-origin: initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: initial;' align='middle' border='0' /></a></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2820329633634513062.post-61745545615427662842012-10-11T11:02:00.001-06:002012-10-11T11:16:45.174-06:00Love is always in Season<div style="margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center;">

I had to use this paper that I only had a small piece of it goes so well with the paper snowflakes I was playing with. My sweet mom got me some cardstock as I was running low on certain colors. Our Daily Bread Designs will pay to ship our boxes of cards overseas. They will sponsor up to two boxes. The challenge was to use circles. <br />
<br />
Also I have challenged my self to pick a paper at random and make a card. I can spend days planning a card and then get started and not like it. By doing this I have been able to get some cards made with much less planning time.<br />

Thinking of You happened to be the challenge for today at OWH. I have been trying to use what I have ready so I can get cards made and have room to work as everything that is ready is on my desk. Here is some Thinking of you that are extreme in seasons but simple. Winter and Spring. Although I love butterflies year round. The last one is a Missing you but was the same style card using more scraps. This blog serves as a record for my card making as I began making cards after finding OWH. The paper cut outs were bought off ebay as a way of seeing if I would use them. I bought a flower punch and do not like it as much as I thought I would. I use the premade flowers more. The cards that follow were made from my box of paper that is too small to be background after cutting all my paper up to be card backgrounds. </div>

More using scraps to make cards. I have a hard time mixing patterns. The good thing is this appealed to me. I think I got my groove back in the last few weeks I have been able to get about 80 cards ready for OWH!! I have several more layed out on the work table waiting to be taped up. Have a great day!</div>

I have seen lots of cards where people were using small scraps and liked the results. I had at one point cut up all my 12x12 into the size needed for card fronts. I tried leaving the pieces that were left over all large as possible. My patterened papers were cut to fit inside a cardstock base with 1/4 edge left. That cutting left me strips that were 5.5 long and 1 inch wide. I used those strips for these cards. I have enough to makes hundreds I am sure. :) Of course they would be different colors. I guess I always drawn to Autumn colors first. </div>

These are images I already colored. Taking them one by one and making a card. The background paper on the bottom one is paper that looked like water. I did not think I would ever find a use for it. I tried 3 other papers with this image first and liked this one the best. </div>

The Bear is from Beccy's Place I had printed off four when I needed a birthday card for a friend. The bikes and typewriters had been printed off and I was not sure how to use. They both seemed to big for cards before I cut them out. I like the old time feel. <br />
The crabs are some punch outs I bought when I thought I would be making lots of cards over the summer. That did not happen. But I can start making summer cards here and there for next year. </div>

These are more of my use what I got ready! They really got me to inspired to make more. Also reminded me that back in March I started making Christmas Cards and they are somewhere completed in my craft room. </div>

It has been awhile since I have crafted. We just had a lot of life changes. Things are crazy and I need my crafting to calm me. I have missed making cards for OWH and looking at all the creations of others. I would like to be able to do some challenges soon as well. <br />
I decided that using up all the printed digi's and the colored ones given to me would be a good place to start and would save the time of always going through them all every time I was looking for an image. So I decided to take them one by one and make a card. These were the first three. I do not remember where the images came from. I cut up all my paper to make it easier and quicker to make a card and forgot to jot or mark the brand. <br />
Made me feel like I accomplished something. </div><div style='clear:both; text-align:CENTER'><a href='http://picasa.google.com/blogger/' target='ext'><img src='http://photos1.blogger.com/pbp.gif' alt='Posted by Picasa' style='border: 0px none ; padding: 0px; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 50%; -moz-background-clip: initial; -moz-background-origin: initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: initial;' align='middle' border='0' /></a></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2820329633634513062.post-10069004774156330782012-03-25T12:41:00.002-06:002012-03-25T12:42:52.154-06:00Be Unique!<div style="margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJFf8pG0WbX1NS-46yUUe9V4oOVJ5L6uFs3qPrxv5jU3ZIaNr69YU_u8NR3kxkiiUq3Z6YWLfWfx1uGRy5jH9qtm0TZknmfEHnrKxkE7GAwpyWSCSoLH8oadEKGxIq7O638dR8NgNsfxs/s1600/101_0583.JPG"><img alt="" border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJFf8pG0WbX1NS-46yUUe9V4oOVJ5L6uFs3qPrxv5jU3ZIaNr69YU_u8NR3kxkiiUq3Z6YWLfWfx1uGRy5jH9qtm0TZknmfEHnrKxkE7GAwpyWSCSoLH8oadEKGxIq7O638dR8NgNsfxs/s320/101_0583.JPG" /></a><br /><br />This card is for the Midweek Throwdown at Operation Write Home's blog Star & Stamps. The challenge was to use yellow and green. I have not had much time to craft as I like. I had gotten both the paper butterflies and the flowers and was wanting to play with them. The sentiment is from TLC Creations Freebies.<br /><br /><br />The bottom pictures are to show what makes it easy to take pictures of finished cards. A pop up light tent. This one is 12" perfect for the cards. It has different colors you can insert. It was about 20 dollars on ebay. The best thing about it is it hides the mess around it. I have a small room to craft in and I make a mess when I craft. This was a perfect solution and thought I would share. It is amazing the light it adds to a photo and no shadows!<br /><br /><br /><br /></div><div style="margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqK5L1jCYy-Lz0TyMljAkkCjoQPE_eBeHBifNdrriVyoEwkm8qUI9POzOTLR5q6mDCNBNLGWVWd06jICwnY1cn2GvRBt4ovE8E2gpqQEKARJklCs5Iivd-nmWHovw8SNfrEU_VouhC2Zo/s1600/101_0582.JPG"><img alt="" border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqK5L1jCYy-Lz0TyMljAkkCjoQPE_eBeHBifNdrriVyoEwkm8qUI9POzOTLR5q6mDCNBNLGWVWd06jICwnY1cn2GvRBt4ovE8E2gpqQEKARJklCs5Iivd-nmWHovw8SNfrEU_VouhC2Zo/s320/101_0582.JPG" /></a> </div><div style="margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7Mfyv0kLsjCU4S4p-MGPu5Na7PAtwKmM6A8fTQp4LiMtAqtPZITWqCGDyhL6K1pnmnX4Pd7qXzTtEcSLvVGbChJDmCNOMBVg0iRmjuFckps7sTfwsqu_zZlWZytcY3975KzdxFtfC2Gs/s1600/101_0584.JPG"><img alt="" border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7Mfyv0kLsjCU4S4p-MGPu5Na7PAtwKmM6A8fTQp4LiMtAqtPZITWqCGDyhL6K1pnmnX4Pd7qXzTtEcSLvVGbChJDmCNOMBVg0iRmjuFckps7sTfwsqu_zZlWZytcY3975KzdxFtfC2Gs/s320/101_0584.JPG" /></a> </div><div style="clear:both; text-align:CENTER"><a href="http://picasa.google.com/blogger/" target="ext"><img src="http://photos1.blogger.com/pbp.gif" alt="Posted by Picasa" style="border: 0px none ; padding: 0px; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 50%; -moz-background-clip: initial; -moz-background-origin: initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: initial;" align="middle" border="0" /></a></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2820329633634513062.post-58405052202873972422012-03-15T20:23:00.003-06:002012-03-15T20:29:00.686-06:00Luck of the Irish<div style="margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEio6-QA5dgn4tbFNwIkmf7RlG5JauAM4D7AnoyvxQvb_TdEIldp3kGqj3y2WUPUUlHk9nRRJVyJVoDub9nH-nfn-fY7QjhW2wnQh_Z7ZhFgPQ_QK_VEeiWFvVnKPhn5xDCz952lgjjPHoI/s1600/101_0578.JPG"><img border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEio6-QA5dgn4tbFNwIkmf7RlG5JauAM4D7AnoyvxQvb_TdEIldp3kGqj3y2WUPUUlHk9nRRJVyJVoDub9nH-nfn-fY7QjhW2wnQh_Z7ZhFgPQ_QK_VEeiWFvVnKPhn5xDCz952lgjjPHoI/s320/101_0578.JPG" /></a><br /><br />This Irish bird from Doodle Pantry was too cute not to make! This card was made for the Hambo Hoedown Challenge. The is image is <span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="color: #3366ff;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">"<b>SOLEMATES - digital image by Hambo Stamps</b>"</span></span></span>. The challenge was tic tac toe. The line I chose was blue, green and ribbon. I used Bazzill card stock in a blue green. The design paper is My Mind's Eye. The bling is studio g. The ribbon is not branded. I colored the image with copics. <br />
I love the humor in the Hambo stamps they use for the challenges. </div><div style='clear:both; text-align:CENTER'><a href='http://picasa.google.com/blogger/' target='ext'><img src='http://photos1.blogger.com/pbp.gif' alt='Posted by Picasa' style='border: 0px none ; padding: 0px; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 50%; -moz-background-clip: initial; -moz-background-origin: initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: initial;' align='middle' border='0' /></a></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2820329633634513062.post-52013497228425325112012-03-10T18:40:00.001-07:002012-03-10T18:40:52.253-07:00Triple Play<div style="margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOOYdMcqCHhhSxFfQypLt1y9ASVQDwCSRds2cIaLfP90Yms9tQM8WY7bBZN_F-78PrX44n-D8XKjxOeTQIPOPQn2VXFqJadCw5gs1PkuXoYx22QdMl48afQdnVJ2yHJqZjVkrHrPDsHG0/s1600/101_0573.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOOYdMcqCHhhSxFfQypLt1y9ASVQDwCSRds2cIaLfP90Yms9tQM8WY7bBZN_F-78PrX44n-D8XKjxOeTQIPOPQn2VXFqJadCw5gs1PkuXoYx22QdMl48afQdnVJ2yHJqZjVkrHrPDsHG0/s320/101_0573.JPG" /></a></div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgpBXIaeL4R7-LHMqjqh6xeNaE8t6UYvgYqq_1nHUu68iv-kEEZZFDh1IFEosgtK2aQBC3mbVDkl9RaQntSkiFbziMCMQ9wrik4RzfV4zyDKqUz_WXrOiKZo3w7YaFshSm4o-57j5zXD0k/s1600/101_0569.JPG"><img alt="" border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgpBXIaeL4R7-LHMqjqh6xeNaE8t6UYvgYqq_1nHUu68iv-kEEZZFDh1IFEosgtK2aQBC3mbVDkl9RaQntSkiFbziMCMQ9wrik4RzfV4zyDKqUz_WXrOiKZo3w7YaFshSm4o-57j5zXD0k/s320/101_0569.JPG" /></a> </div></div><div style="margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center;"></div><div style="margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPlhdUz8gN73S9EIvWQHG1YTB9PEz9_TmbpoxKho9bsBqMihvbAvancLpfn-TfkXdLbT8qTlNUfrP13VNP7dH9ciFcoN2ldn2TxNb2A3XWgoJ7hgEy_8kzmCSTO5O_8YvjrAgdB4bpADY/s1600/101_0574.JPG"><img alt="" border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPlhdUz8gN73S9EIvWQHG1YTB9PEz9_TmbpoxKho9bsBqMihvbAvancLpfn-TfkXdLbT8qTlNUfrP13VNP7dH9ciFcoN2ldn2TxNb2A3XWgoJ7hgEy_8kzmCSTO5O_8YvjrAgdB4bpADY/s320/101_0574.JPG" /></a><br />

All of these cards are for Operation Write Home Challenges.<br />
The first card is for the Our Daily Bread Challenge. This generous company will pay for a large box of shipping overseas for every 25 cards that are linked to the challenge. They will sponsor up to two boxes each month. This month was tic tac toe challenge. I chose the row that had brads, piercing and stripes.<br />
This card uses a Doodle Pantry image. The paper piercing is in the corner. The striped paper is from My Mind's Eye. The cardstock is Colorbok. The embossed paper was given to me by my mom. The brads are from Oriental Trading.<br />
<br />
The next card is for the Midweek Challenge on Wednesday's. The challenge was Mother's Day cards. I am doing the 1/2 and 1/2 challenge. I have 51 Mother's Day and 51 General cards so far. I will be mailing early next week so that will probably be all I will able to get finished.<br />
The image is from Oh La La. The butterflies are punched out of cardstock. The other cardstock is Bazzill. The sentiment was made in word. <br />
<br />
The last card is for Sunday's sketch challenge. The image is from Oh La La stamps. The cardstock is Bazzill. The design paper is also My Mind's Eye. </div><div style='clear:both; text-align:CENTER'><a href='http://picasa.google.com/blogger/' target='ext'><img src='http://photos1.blogger.com/pbp.gif' alt='Posted by Picasa' style='border: 0px none ; padding: 0px; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 50%; -moz-background-clip: initial; -moz-background-origin: initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: initial;' align='middle' border='0' /></a></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com4
